The Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA) has released a forecast regarding the increase in the harvest and export of major agricultural crops in the marketing season of 2025/2026. According to analysts’ estimates, Ukrainian farmers may gather up to 83.1 million tons of grains and oilseeds, with export volumes reaching 50 million tons.

Forecast for the Yield of Major Crops
Experts predict that the corn harvest in the 2025/2026 marketing year will rise to 29.26 million tons, while the export of this crop may reach around 24 million tons. The wheat harvest is expected to remain stable at last season’s level of 22.5 million tons, with exports anticipated at 16.5 million tons.
As for oilseeds, it is expected that the sunflower harvest in the new season will be 15 million tons, of which exports may amount to 100 thousand tons. Rapeseed production is forecasted at 3 million tons, with exports at 2.6 million tons. For soybeans, a harvest of 6.23 million tons is expected, with exports of this crop potentially reaching 4 million tons.
Comparison with Previous Seasons
In the 2024/2025 marketing year, it is estimated that Ukraine exported 46.7 million tons of grains and oilseeds. In comparison, in the 2023/2024 marketing year, these figures were higher, totaling 57.5 million tons. Production volumes in 2024 were estimated at 78.8 million tons, while in 2023 they were 82.9 million tons.
