The Minister of Agrarian Policy, Vitaliy Koval, reported that a significant portion of global fruit juice consumption is linked to Ukrainian raw material resources. TBF Group’s factories produce about 300,000 tons of fruit concentrates per season, which accounts for one in ten bottles of juice worldwide. The main markets include not only Ukrainian retail chains but also countries in the European Union and the USA.

Innovative Production Approaches and New Development Directions

Most of the group’s factories are built on a “green field” principle, allowing for the use of modern technologies and ensuring a high level of energy efficiency. All production workshops have a closed-loop cycle, which helps reduce waste levels to zero. According to Vitaliy Koval, despite the war, company owners have not stopped; on the contrary, they have scaled up production and opened new enterprises.

In particular, at the end of 2024, a bioethanol production plant under the Westnol brand will be launched. The production volume is 4,500 cubic meters per month, with ambitions to increase this figure by 300%. The main raw material is corn grain, processing 11,500 tons monthly. In addition to bioethanol production, the company plans to launch the production of liquefied CO2 and produces by-products.

“Despite all the challenges of war, Ukrainian enterprises continue to operate and develop, opening new production directions,” notes Vitaliy Koval.
