Main Markets and Reasons for Growth
The largest consumers of Ukrainian cheeses remain Moldova, which accounted for 33.8% of total exports, Kazakhstan (30%), and Germany (9.1%). The export of cheese products is growing particularly rapidly: in July 2025, their export doubled compared to the same period last year. The main factor behind this dynamic growth was the decline in the competitiveness of Russian products in the Central Asian markets.
