In Ukraine, by the end of 2025, there is a noticeable growth in retail, manifested in the opening of new stores across various regions of the country. The shopping and entertainment center “Ostriv” in Odesa has welcomed several new establishments: clothing stores Intertop and Arber, the sports space Apollo Next, the “House of Toys” store, and the jewelry brand Pandora have all opened their doors to visitors. This allows the shopping center to attract a wider audience and meet the demands of various categories of shoppers.

New Openings in the Capital Region and Other Cities
The “Dari Morya” chain from Sumy has opened its first store in Kyiv with an exclusive design, marking an important step in the company’s development at the national level. A renovated Spar supermarket has opened at Kyiv’s Central Railway Station, now exceeding 140 square meters in area. This has significantly expanded the range of products available for passengers and city residents.
In the city of Irpin, near Kyiv, the first VARUS supermarket has opened, expanding the brand’s presence in the capital’s suburbs. A significant event for Chernivtsi was marked by retailer Fozzy, which launched its first wholesale hypermarket in the region, covering an area of 6,400 square meters. At the same time, the COMFY chain, specializing in household appliances and electronics, opened two new stores in Zhytomyr and Chernivtsi. Throughout 2025, the chain increased its number of points of sale to six, and COMFY now has a total of 115 stores in 54 cities across the country.
Development of Retail Parks and Future Plans
In the new Mukachevo retail park in Transcarpathia, stores such as CCC and Worldbox, as well as a large branch of “Nova Poshta,” are preparing to open. The first phase of this retail park, covering over 8,600 square meters, began operations in mid-November 2025. Currently, over 80% of the area is already occupied, with well-known brands such as Jysk, LC Waikiki, Comfy, Sinsay, Andi, and others among the tenants.
