Capabilities of Gemini Enterprise and its positioning
Gemini Enterprise will serve as a universal tool for automating workflows and content creation in a corporate environment. The platform integrates both internal and third-party Google technologies, providing employees with simple and secure access to AI features without the need for programming.
Users receive a single entry point for working with corporate data, searching for information, and completing tasks using intelligent agents. Gemini Enterprise also offers deep integration with popular business applications such as Salesforce and SAP, allowing for efficient data handling and expanding the capabilities of the Google Cloud ecosystem. The subscription cost is $30 per month per user.
Gemini Enterprise “democratizes access to AI” and makes it a tool not only for data specialists but also for employees across various departments.
Market competition and development strategy
Gemini Enterprise is positioned as a direct competitor to Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise. The launch of the platform is part of Google’s strategy to consolidate all its artificial intelligence solutions on one platform and enhance integration with corporate systems. The company aims to create a competitive advantage through an open architecture and close collaboration with business clients.
The product was introduced ahead of the Alphabet event “Gemini at Work,” marking an important step in expanding Google’s presence in the corporate AI technology market. Today, Google is actively implementing Gemini models across all its services, including the Chrome browser, with the goal of making artificial intelligence a standard in business processes.
According to the company, 90% of the world’s largest artificial intelligence laboratories utilize Google Cloud’s computing resources. Current contracts for cloud services are projected to be around $106 billion, with $58 billion expected to contribute to revenue growth by 2027. The corporation emphasizes the role of its cloud division as a key driver of Alphabet’s business.
During the demonstration, Google showcased the practical application of Gemini Enterprise: the marketing department was able to create a full-fledged Halloween campaign using the Gemini agent to analyze the market, check inventory, place orders, and prepare content for social media.
The platform will be available in all countries where Google Cloud operates and will support over ten languages at launch.
It is worth noting that Amazon co-founder Jeff Bezos recently remarked that the current investment boom in artificial intelligence resembles an “industrial bubble.”
