Ukrainian citizens are actively developing businesses in Poland, having become owners of 29,044 companies, according to the latest data from the Polish register. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainians have opened 13,014 new enterprises. Over the past 3.5 years, a total of 208,251 companies have been established in Poland, and 6% of them are owned by Ukrainian citizens.

Dynamics of Creation and Economic Impact
The largest increase in registrations of Ukrainian companies occurred in 2022, when 4,780 new businesses were opened, representing a 33% increase compared to 2021. The majority of these are small businesses. The total capital that Ukrainian companies have contributed to the Polish register exceeds PLN 7.34 billion (€1.647 billion).
Contribution to Budget Formation and GDP Growth
In 2024, Ukrainians in Poland paid nearly PLN 1.65 billion ($414 million) in taxes from individuals and legal entities. According to estimates by analysts from the consulting firm Deloitte, in 2023, Ukrainian refugees working in Poland accounted for 2.3% of the country’s total GDP, and this figure rose to 2.7% in 2024. It is projected that by 2030, the contribution of Ukrainians to Poland’s GDP will reach 3.2%.
