McGregor noted that the initial goal of creating cryptocurrency was to return power to the people. He believes that implementing a strategic Bitcoin reserve will enhance the financial autonomy of citizens. In his Twitter message, he wrote:
“Crypto in its origin was founded to give power back to the people. An Irish Bitcoin strategic reserve will give power to the people’s money. I will be cohosting a Twitter space to talk about what I want to see changed. Victory to Ireland!”
He also announced that he will be co-hosting a Twitter Space to discuss the planned changes.
