Focus on Web3 Security and Leading Speakers

The main theme of ETHSofia 2025 is dedicated to Web3 security — this topic has emerged in response to the rise of cyber threats and abuses in decentralized protocols. The conference program will include sessions on infrastructure resilience, secure smart contract design, exploit prevention, as well as practical workshops and panel discussions featuring leading industry experts.

Among the confirmed speakers for this year’s conference will be:

  • Nicolas Baca — co-founder of Ledger;
  • Stefan Bratanov — blockchain engineer at Consensys;
  • Martin Kvensel — co-founder of Centrifuge;
  • Mike Masari — strategic advisor at RedStone;
  • Krum Pashov — founder of Pashov Audit Group;
  • Shermina Voshmgir — author of Token Economy and founder of Token Kitchen.

The full list of speakers is available on the official conference website.

Partnerships, New Directions, and Sofia’s Role on the Ethereum Map

The general partners of ETHSofia 2025 include Nexo, Ambire, Bitomat, BoneX, UEB3 Fund, Remote IT World, and the Ethereum Foundation, which once again supports the event through its Ecosystem Support Program.

In addition to security issues, participants will explore current industry development directions, including the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) with blockchain, Trading Tech, DeFi, tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), and scaling decentralized networks.

“ETHSofia 2025 is set to be an even larger, more ambitious, and exciting event aimed not only at enhancing participants’ technical knowledge but also at establishing Sofia as one of the key centers for Ethereum development in Europe.”
