Investment Inflows into Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Exceeded $592 Million in a Week

During the week of March 2 to March 6, 2026, spot exchange-traded funds based on Bitcoin and Ethereum demonstrated a significant influx of capital. Total inflows into these instruments amounted to over $592 million, indicating sustained investor interest in cryptocurrency assets.

Investment Dynamics in Bitcoin ETFs

The spot Bitcoin ETF sector recorded an investment influx of $568.45 million. According to SoSoValue data, positive dynamics were observed in seven funds, among which IBIT attracted the most capital — $659.96 million. Investment growth was also recorded in BTC ($45.89 million), EZBC ($22.48 million), BRRR ($16.99 million), BTCW ($16.45 million), BTCO ($15.29 million), and HODL ($10.41 million).

At the same time, four funds experienced capital outflows: FBTC lost $153.06 million, GBTC — $34.96 million, BITB — $24.17 million, and ARKB — $6.82 million. The DEFI fund did not receive any new capital under management during the reporting period.

Results of Ethereum ETFs and the Altcoin Segment

In the spot Ethereum ETF sector, investment inflows of $23.56 million were recorded during the week. The funds that received the most investments were ETHA from BlackRock ($133.24 million), ETH from Grayscale ($84.18 million), and ETHE from Grayscale ($16.37 million). Funds also attracted capital from ETHW by Bitwise ($7.46 million), ETHV by VanEck ($2.81 million), and QETH by Invesco ($2.71 million). The EZET fund from Franklin Templeton remained without inflows.

Alongside this, FETH from Fidelity and TETH from 21Shares recorded significant outflows — $218 million and $5.21 million respectively.

In the altcoin ETF segment, some crypto-ETFs showed capital inflows; however, AVAX-ETF, Litecoin-ETF, and DOT-ETF did not attract investments. Instead, investors withdrew $4.09 million from XRP-ETF.

The Hong Kong market also observed an outflow of 497.74 ETH and 6,190 SOL, highlighting mixed sentiments among market participants.

It is worth noting that over the past four months, spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs have lost more than $9 billion, demonstrating the volatility of investment flows in the cryptocurrency segment.
