Ukraine and Germany have identified key areas of cooperation for the next three months, focusing on industrial development, critical mineral extraction, green reconstruction projects, food security, human capital development, and business support. The relevant plans were agreed upon during working negotiations between representatives of the governments of both countries.

Investments and New Programs for Business
The parties discussed the possibility of initiating an intergovernmental program that would encourage German companies to enter the Ukrainian market through grants and export financing. The program also includes the supply of modern equipment and active participation of German businesses in the reconstruction of Ukraine’s industry.
Particular attention was given to the prospects of exporting biomethane from Ukraine. The German government is currently preparing the necessary legislative changes to unblock the import of biomethane from non-EU countries.
Attracting Investments in Critical Minerals and Agro-Processing
During the meeting, the possibility of attracting German investments in the extraction of strategically important resources for Europe—lithium, titanium, and graphite—was discussed. The prospects for investment from German businesses in agro-processing and the construction of modern vegetable storage facilities in Ukraine were also considered.
In particular, the parties are considering the possibility of creating an intergovernmental program that would stimulate German businesses to enter Ukraine through grants and export financing, supply equipment, and participate in industrial reconstruction
In the near future, a Ukrainian-German business summit will take place in Berlin, where the parties plan to continue negotiations on expanding economic cooperation and implementing joint projects.
