The Netherlands has announced an allocation of €55 million to the World Bank trust fund to support Ukraine’s reconstruction. This was stated by Prime Minister Dick Schoof, who emphasized the importance of international assistance in the context of ongoing Russian aggression.

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands highlighted that Russian aggression poses a threat not only to Ukraine but also to other European countries, particularly through violations of airspace and hybrid challenges. Reconstruction of Kyiv Region Infrastructure
Active work is underway in the Kyiv region to restore damaged infrastructure. Overall, about 80% of the facilities affected by Russian shelling have already been restored, totaling over 24,000 facilities, including residential buildings, schools, hospitals, and other social structures.
In particular, in Irpin, 3,111 out of 3,860 damaged facilities have been repaired, indicating significant progress in the city’s reconstruction. In Borodyanka, construction is ongoing for a new nine-story residential building on the site of a destroyed apartment block. The new building will house 105 apartments for residents who lost their homes. In total, over 600 out of 825 facilities that were damaged during the hostilities have already been restored in Borodyanka.
