Strategic Goals of the Program

Svyrydenko emphasized that the main goal of the initiative is to transform the structure of the national economy and increase the share of the manufacturing industry in GDP. Currently, this figure stands at 10.3%, which is half of that in Ukraine’s neighboring countries. The program aims to develop non-commodity exports, attract investments into the real sector of the economy, and support Ukrainian producers through access to loans and grants. Over the next two years, it is planned to allocate no less than ₴180 billion to achieve these objectives.

“The global goal of the program is to change the structure of the economy and increase the share of the manufacturing industry in the GDP structure.”

Results for the Budget

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, speaking at the forum “Government and Business: From Dialogue to Partnership,” reported that in the first five months of the current year, Ukrainian businesses paid over ₴1.5 trillion in taxes and fees to the state budget. These results indicate a gradual increase in business activity and the effectiveness of the implemented economic programs.
