According to the analysis of Customs Service statistics, Poland became Ukraine’s leading trade partner among European countries in 2025. During the first eight months of this year, the export of Ukrainian goods to Poland amounted to $3.264 billion, while imports from this country reached $5.014 billion.

Germany ranked second among European partners. Ukraine exported goods worth $1.530 billion there, while the volume of imports from Germany amounted to $4.240 billion. Italy also remains an important partner: in 2025, the export of Ukrainian goods to this country reached $1.417 billion, while imports totaled $1.666 billion.
Among other key export destinations, Ukraine supplied goods to the Netherlands worth $1.285 billion, Spain for $1.204 billion, Romania for $929.9 million, Hungary for $870.1 million, Moldova for $732.2 million, Bulgaria for $687.5 million, the Czech Republic for $640.7 million, France for $513.8 million, the UK for $414.7 million, and Portugal for $67.4 million. The smallest export was to Iceland, totaling only $1.8 million.
Ranking of Major Importers of European Goods to Ukraine
In addition to Poland and Germany, significant volumes of imports to Ukraine in 2025 were provided by Italy ($1.666 billion), the Czech Republic ($1.514 billion), Slovakia ($1.452 billion), France ($1.324 billion), and the UK ($944.3 million). The least amount of goods was imported from Malta ($6.5 million) and Belarus ($3 million).
