Main Results of Exports and Imports

Since May 2022, 209 million tons of Ukrainian goods have been exported through the ‘Solidarity Lanes’. Of this, 98 million tons are agricultural products, while 91 million tons consist of grains and oilseeds. In addition to agricultural products, during this period, 111 million tons of non-agricultural cargo, including ores and steel, were exported through the European borders.

In February 2026, approximately 60% of the export of non-agricultural goods from Ukraine and the same percentage of imports (including fuel, cars, fertilizers, military equipment, and humanitarian aid) were routed through these corridors.

Strategic Importance for Ukraine and the EU

In monetary terms, the total trade volume through the ‘Solidarity Lanes’ is estimated at €270 billion: exports from Ukraine amount to about €72 billion, while imports into Ukraine total €198 billion.

‘Solidarity Lanes’ are no longer just a temporary wartime solution: they lay the groundwork for the long-term integration of Ukraine into the EU single market, future recovery, and deepening transport connections with Europe.

Thus, the European transport corridors have become a key element in ensuring stable trade and supporting Ukraine’s economic resilience even in wartime, as well as creating conditions for deepening cooperation with the European Union in the future.
