Ukraine has established itself as a leading global manufacturer of FPV drones, producing over 2.2 million units in the past year. The country’s defense industry is actively evolving to meet the new demands of modern warfare, as reported by representatives of the Ministry of Defense at the forum “Ukrainian Weapons – 2024.”

The CEO of Tencore LLC, which specializes in developing UAVs for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, commented:
“We have already started working with investments and contracts worth $35 billion. This is the goal we must achieve”
. He also emphasized that production capabilities in Ukraine are not limited to drones; there has been a significant increase in the production of missiles, electronic warfare systems, and ground robotic platforms. It is important to note that over 50% of the materials for these systems are supplied by Ukrainian companies. There is also a company that manufactures UAVs using 100% domestically produced components.
Minister of Strategic Industry Herman Smetanin noted that Ukrainian manufacturers have the capacity to produce up to 10 million FPV drones per year, while continuously increasing the level of production localization.
