Key Areas of the Program and Objectives

The program focuses on three main areas of work: ensuring the resilience and early recovery of Ukrainian infrastructure, enhancing energy security, and supporting the transition to green energy, as well as developing democratic institutions. The planned activities are aimed at increasing Ukraine’s capacity to meet the basic needs of its population and creating conditions for sustainable economic growth. Special attention is given to the reforms necessary for Euro-integration and the development of the private sector.

The three-year program is designed to enhance Ukraine’s resilience and its ability to meet the urgent basic needs of its population, support the transition to an ecological economy, and improve the framework conditions for the development of the private sector, as well as facilitate the reforms necessary for EU accession.

Investment Support from Denmark and Switzerland

Danish companies are also showing readiness to participate in the reconstruction of Ukrainian cities. In particular, Vaekstkapital Group ApS is considering the possibility of constructing residential buildings in Mykolaiv. This company has experience in implementing similar projects in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, carrying out the full cycle of work—from design to completion of construction.

In addition to Denmark, Switzerland aims to expand the involvement of private businesses in the reconstruction of Ukraine. A bill has been registered in the Swiss parliament that will allow local companies to supply goods and services for Ukrainian needs with state funding, creating additional opportunities to support Ukraine.
