Deutsche Bank запустить сервіс криптозберігання у 2026 році

The German financial giant Deutsche Bank has announced plans to launch its own digital asset custody service in 2026. The initiative aims to create a secure platform for storing cryptocurrency assets, allowing the bank to expand its range of financial services in the digital technology sector.

Partnership with Bitpanda and Taurus SA

To implement this project, Deutsche Bank has engaged Bitpanda Technology Solutions — the technology division of the well-known cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda, and will continue its collaboration with the Swiss company Taurus SA, which specializes in innovative solutions for managing digital assets.

It is noted that as early as 2022, Deutsche Bank declared its interest in developing digital asset custody services. Since then, the bank has been actively analyzing ways to integrate cryptocurrencies into its own financial products and services.

Exploring New Financial Opportunities

In addition to launching the crypto custody service, Deutsche Bank is exploring the potential use of tokenized deposits and stablecoins. Among the possible directions are the creation of its own token or joining industry initiatives in the field of digital finance.

“The bank is also exploring the possibilities of using stablecoins and tokenized deposits.”

Earlier, at the end of 2024, Deutsche Bank launched a pilot project aimed at overcoming regulatory barriers faced by banks when working with public blockchains. This indicates a gradual expansion of the bank’s participation in the digital economy and a desire to align with current trends in the financial market.
