The cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask has introduced MetaMask Rewards—a new on-chain program that the company describes as “the largest in its field.” Wallet owners will be able to earn rewards in LINEA tokens, with a total fund exceeding $30 million.
Company representatives emphasized that the initiative is not “just another farm for the sake of an airdrop,” but is part of a strategy for ecosystem development and preparation for the launch of a future MetaMask token. Special attention will be given to long-time users, who will receive priority benefits.

Participation Conditions for MetaMask Rewards
According to the team, the first season of MetaMask Rewards will be one of the largest on-chain programs in the crypto industry. Among the main rewards are referral bonuses, incentives in mUSD, exclusive partner offers, and access to new tokens. The program is set to launch in the coming weeks, and regular wallet users will receive special preferences.
MetaMask has emphasized that the main goal is to regularly acknowledge its community. Long-term users are particularly valued, and special advantages are planned for them. As the company highlights, MetaMask Rewards will have a close connection with the future MetaMask token.
It is worth noting that ahead of the launch of this program, MetaMask took several important steps for ecosystem development. In September 2025, the company introduced the MetaMask USD (mUSD) stablecoin, which operates on the Ethereum and Linea networks. Its issuer is Bridge, and its backing consists of short-term U.S. Treasury bonds.
Additionally, Consensys CEO and Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin confirmed the preparation for the launch of the MASK token, which is expected to be an important step towards the decentralization of MetaMask. The Linea project and its token have become a model for similar initiatives in the cryptocurrency sector.
