The BTC Prague conference took place in Prague, gathering over 10,000 participants and more than 200 speakers from various countries. The highlight of the event was the speech by Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), who shared his vision for the future of Bitcoin and his investment strategy in digital assets.

Key Points from Saylor’s Speech
During his speech, Michael Saylor noted that over the past year, Bitcoin has strengthened its position in the global financial system. It has been embraced by key institutions, including the White House, Wall Street, technology investment funds, and international regulators. Currently, hundreds of public companies are actively building their own Bitcoin reserves, indicating the growing recognition of cryptocurrency as a financial asset.
“My company was the first to buy Bitcoin. People thought we were crazy, but I thought we were late,” Saylor stated.
Predictions for the Future of Bitcoin
Michael Saylor emphasized that in July 2024, Bitcoin’s share of “global wealth” was less than 1%. However, by 2045, he believes this figure could rise to 7%. The businessman described the current stage of cryptocurrency development as a “turning point in the monetary revolution.” He also recalled Hal Finney’s words about a potential price of $10 million in the event of full Bitcoin adoption and stated that “the fire of Satoshi has become unstoppable.” According to Saylor’s calculations, Bitcoin provides a 21% annual return with the same volatility, outpacing all major asset classes both over the past year and over the decades.
Speaking about investment strategy, Saylor proposed a step-by-step 21-year plan for future investors, which includes:
- annual purchases of Bitcoin worth $50,000 with a 5% increase in contribution each year;
- using leverage at 10% per annum;
- integrating digital gold into personal financial and business strategies.
He urged to start investing now, regardless of fears and information noise, and emphasized the importance of adhering to the HODL principle to secure the family’s future and create a legacy.
“Start now while others are afraid, and change your world,” he urged.
Saylor also quoted Sir John Templeton, stressing that the most dangerous belief is thinking that “this time it will be different.”
According to the organizers, BTC Prague maintains its status as the largest and most influential Bitcoin event in Europe, bringing together leading experts and over 100 specialized companies. In 2025, the event set a record for the number of participants and speakers.
