The Goal of Transformation — Attracting Foreign Capital

Rostyslav Melnyk, the Executive Director of ‘Riel’, emphasized that the restructuring of the business is necessary to attract foreign investments and collaborate with international financial institutions. As a result of creating a holding structure, the company plans to consolidate several key development companies, ensuring transparency of beneficiaries and a clear reporting system.

“Without such a structure, it is impossible to cooperate with any foreign financial institutions that provide loans or enter into partnerships,” said Melnyk.

Negotiations with International Funds and Future Plans

According to the executive director, it is extremely important to have a transparent corporate model, validated by audits from reputable companies, to work with international funds. Currently, ‘Riel’ is actively negotiating with many funds and has already initiated dialogue with five private institutions, as well as with well-known organizations such as the IFC and EBRD.

The company plans to complete the structuring of the holding by the end of spring 2026. It is expected that the first agreements with international funds will be signed as early as 2025 — both for financing and for launching joint development projects.
