Tether, one of the leading issuers of stablecoins, has no intention of going public, even in light of the recent success of competitor Circle on the New York Stock Exchange. According to CEO Paolo Ardoino, the company is confidently growing and does not feel the need to conduct an IPO.

Tether’s Capitalization and Reserve Growth
Paolo Ardoino responded to the assumption by Artemis CEO John Ma regarding Tether’s potential capitalization at $515 billion. The head of Tether considers this valuation to be undervalued, emphasizing the growth of reserves in Bitcoin and gold. He noted that the value of USDT has already exceeded $154 billion, and the company’s financial reserves continue to increase due to investments in cryptocurrencies and precious metals.
“Tether valuation at 515B is a beautiful number. Maybe a bit bearish considering our current (and increasing) Bitcoin + Gold treasury, yet I’m very humbled. Also truly excited for the next phase of growth of our company.”
Investment Diversification and Strategic Development
Tether is actively investing in the fintech sector and cryptocurrency assets. Recently, the company acquired a controlling stake in Twenty One Capital, a startup founded by Jack Mallers. As a result, Twenty One Capital has entered the top three largest corporate holders of Bitcoin after MicroStrategy and MARA Holdings.
Additionally, Tether has transferred over 37,000 BTC to a specialized platform for working with digital assets. Experts emphasize that such steps strengthen the company’s position in the digital economy and demonstrate its strategic focus on innovation.
Some well-known investors, including Anthony Pompliano and Jack Mallers, predict that Tether’s capitalization could reach $1 trillion in the near future. Meanwhile, Ardoino emphasized that the company is focused on further growth rather than entering the stock market.
It was previously reported that Tether plans to maintain a strategic focus on international markets, despite changes in the regulatory landscape in the U.S.
