Ukrainian Potential in Battery Production
According to the expert, Ukraine has significant reserves of raw materials, particularly lithium, which is one of the key components for manufacturing modern batteries. He emphasized that there is currently global competition for such resources, and the use of these materials could become the foundation for the future reconstruction of the country and its economic growth.
“Ukraine should pay attention to the raw materials it possesses, as most of these materials are critically important (both lithium and others) for battery production. This is what the whole world is currently fighting over, and the direction related to the production of energy storage systems represents a certain opportunity connected with the future reconstruction of Ukraine,” the expert noted.
Strategic Partnership with Poland and Role in Drone Development
Krzysztof Burda emphasized that Ukraine is capable of being not only a supplier of raw materials but also actively participating in the production of batteries for various sectors, including electric vehicles and drones. He pointed out Ukraine’s experience in developing the drone industry, which could be valuable for all of Europe.
The expert also noted that Poland already has established production chains for battery manufacturing, so cooperation with Ukraine in this area could be not only mutually beneficial but also strategically important for the European battery technology market.
