According to the results from January to November 2025, Ukraine recorded a decrease in agricultural production by 6.6% compared to the same period last year. The agricultural production index was 93.4% of the level in 2024.

Details of the Decline in Crop and Livestock Production
Crop production decreased by 7.3%, while livestock production fell by 3.8%. Agricultural enterprises demonstrated a production index decline of 6.8%, with the crop segment experiencing a reduction of 8%. Meanwhile, the livestock sector remained stable, with no significant changes in dynamics.
Regional Characteristics and Positive Dynamics
In household farms, the overall production index decreased by 6.3%, with crop production reducing by 5.2% and livestock production by 9.6%. The most significant decline in production volumes was recorded in Donetsk region, where the index was only 57.4% compared to last year, indicating a drop of 42.6%. Significant reductions were also observed in Kherson region (by 29.9%) and Dnipropetrovsk region (by 20.7%).

At the same time, two regions demonstrated growth: in Chernihiv region, agricultural production volumes increased by 2.2%, and in Vinnytsia region, they rose by 1.6%.
