Record Growth in Soybean Oil Exports

According to the association “UkrOliaprom”, in the 2024-2025 marketing year, Ukraine exported 521,300 tons of soybean oil, which is 52.5% more in natural terms compared to the previous year. In monetary terms, export volumes nearly doubled to $521.7 million. There is also a significant increase in soybean meal exports, highlighting the stable demand for Ukrainian agricultural products in various countries around the world.

85% of the soybean oil exported by Ukrainian processors went to EU countries. The leaders in purchasing Ukrainian soybean oil were Poland (345,300 tons for $344.5 million), Germany (22,000 tons for $22 million), Bulgaria (17,900 tons for $16.3 million), as well as India (36,700 tons for $35.3 million), Saudi Arabia (11,000 tons for $11 million), and the UAE (7,200 tons for $8.2 million).

Rapeseed Oil: Increasing Processing and Exports

In July-August 2025, approximately 60,000 tons of rapeseed were processed in Ukraine, allowing for the production and export of 25,000 tons of rapeseed oil. Additionally, in September, after the introduction of an export duty on soybeans and rapeseed, another 108,800 tons of rapeseed oil were exported. The majority of this product – 84.5% – was supplied to EU countries.

Thus, the EU remains a key market for Ukrainian soybean and rapeseed oil producers, and export figures are confidently rising even in challenging economic conditions.
