At the same time, they emphasize that the key factor for the industry’s development remains the impact of the war, which continues to affect the industry’s prospects.

Attracting New Talent and Changes in the Labor Market
One of the largest IT companies in Ukraine, EPAM, has announced its intention to invest in the development of young specialists. Throughout the year, the company plans to hire between 750 and 800 entry-level specialists (juniors), indicating a growing demand for young talent in the sector.
Overall, experts note that the country’s IT sector is gradually moving towards greater technological maturity, niche specialization, and integration into the global market. Ukrainian product companies will continue to focus on international markets, but access to global capital remains one of the main challenges. Despite this, Ukraine maintains its competitiveness in the global information technology market.
Job Vacancy Dynamics and Market Leaders in 2025
In the second half of 2025, the Ukrainian IT labor market recorded significant growth. The number of vacancies on the platform jobs.dou.ua reached 41,000, which is 11% higher compared to the first half of the year. This figure is the highest since 2021 and indicates market activation and increased demand for specialists.
“The IT sector in Ukraine will move towards even greater specialization, technological maturity, and global integration. Ukrainian product companies will continue to operate in global markets, but access to international capital will remain a key issue. However, Ukraine will continue to be competitive in the global market.”
The most active employers in the second half of last year were companies Genesis, N-iX, and the drone systems team ‘Rarog’, which also confirms the high dynamics of the industry in attracting new specialists.
