Successful Auctions and New Lots
The most expensive asset sold last week was the construction company “Ukrbud” from Kyiv, which was sold for 805 million hryvnias. This week, nine more auctions are scheduled. Among the main lots are the Lviv Special Design Bureau “Topaz” and the Kyiv “Scientific Center for Precision Engineering.”
Privatization of Rivne Radio Technical Plant
An auction for the sale of 50% +1 share of the Rivne Radio Technical Plant is scheduled for July 4. The starting price for the share package is 121.56 million hryvnias (excluding VAT).
“The plant is an excellent brownfield project, as it is located in the city of Rivne, just four kilometers from the international highway M06 Kyiv-Chop. Among the advantages of the site are a large total area of premises and land. Additional benefits include connections to utilities and the absence of any targeted restrictions. Therefore, the new owner can consider this site as a successful platform for relocation of an already established production,” the SPFU stated.
The Rivne Radio Technical Plant previously specialized in the production of radio equipment for the aviation industry, the defense complex of the former USSR, and also produced consumer electronics, including tape recorders and radios. The enterprise ceased operations in 2013 and was declared bankrupt.
