Solutions for Mass Adoption of DeFi
During the event, George Kiknadze, CTO of VS1 Finance and former engineer at MetaMask Institutional, presented a report titled “User Integration through AI: Making DeFi Accessible.” He elaborated on the barriers hindering the widespread adoption of DeFi and the role of artificial intelligence in overcoming them. According to Kiknadze, most users still find DeFi complicated, which slows down the mass transition to decentralized finance.
“Only 27% of wallet users venture into DeFi. Not because they are not interested, but because it is still complicated. We want to make this experience feel like a regular conversation,” said the expert.
The speaker paid special attention to the implementation of AI wallets that serve as personal assistants. With these tools, users can easily stake, swap tokens, and participate in farming programs even without specialized technical knowledge. A beta version of such integration is already available on the VS1 Finance platform.
Security and Trust in Decentralized Finance
Kiknadze also outlined the main UX issues that hinder the development of DeFi. Among them are complex interfaces, the need for deep technical understanding, and concerns about security. The expert identified the automation of processes through artificial intelligence as a solution to these issues, which simultaneously does not deprive users of control over their own finances.
- Automation of decision-making while maintaining user control
- Security frameworks for smart automation
- Building trust through transparency and intuitive design
In Kiknadze’s opinion, the main value of Web3 lies not in speculative opportunities, but in significantly lowering the barriers for those transitioning from traditional finance to a decentralized economy.
