Binance’s Strategy Regarding SAFU and Bitcoin

“Binance stated that they consider Bitcoin as the foundational asset of the crypto ecosystem and a tool for long-term value preservation.”

The exchange also announced its intention to conduct regular rebalancing of the SAFU reserves in response to changes in market value. If, due to Bitcoin’s volatility, the reserve amount falls below $800 million, Binance will restore it to the level of $1 billion.

Previously, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao dismissed all rumors regarding large-scale Bitcoin sales, manipulation of the SAFU fund, or his personal influence on the market.
