The non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet Bitget Wallet has announced the launch of a new feature, «Purchases with Cryptocurrency», which represents an integrated marketplace for users wishing to spend their crypto assets on a variety of goods and services without the need to convert to fiat currency. With this new feature, users can purchase items from well-known platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Google Play, Steam, and other brands. From now on, they can easily pay with cryptocurrency for various offerings, including travel, video games, and other services.
“Bitget Wallet is the only non-custodial wallet that provides maximum flexibility in spending. Users can scan QR codes, use cards, or make purchases in the app among hundreds of brands,” said Bitget Wallet’s Chief Operating Officer Alvin Kan.
The new feature is available in the Discovery tab under Shop with Crypto in the Bitget Wallet app, allowing purchases directly from the crypto wallet. Instructions for use are sent via email immediately after placing an order.
According to the press release, the platform supports over 300 global brands where users can shop. Among them are Amazon, Walmart, Google Play, Steam, Shopee, Tmall, and JD.com. Additional offerings will include:
- mobile top-up services;
- digital wallets and subscriptions;
- gift cards, travel, entertainment, and video games.
A special feature is the ability to purchase in-game items in partnership with DotMart. Players can acquire currency for games like PUBG Mobile, Free Fire MAX, and Mobile Legends at prices up to 30% lower than in-game. Transactions are conducted in the DotMall app under Shop with Crypto, and activation codes are provided instantly, ensuring a convenient and fast user experience.
The Bitget Wallet team is already planning further expansion of features. As Alvin Kan noted, subscriptions for new services, travel options, and an expanded list of partner stores will be available soon.
“We have created a simple, seamless, and secure experience that combines digital assets with everyday spending,” emphasized Kan.
