11 crypto projects raised over $109 million in investments in a week

From July 5 to July 12, 2025, eleven crypto and blockchain projects collectively raised $109.4 million in investments. The most funding was secured by Agora and DigitalX, with the majority of the funds directed towards the development of DeFi sectors and blockchain services. Four market participants did not disclose the exact amount of investments received.

Major recipients of investments

The leader of the week was the stablecoin company Agora, which raised $50 million in a Series A round led by Paradigm with participation from Dragonfly Capital. The investments will support the development of the AUSD asset and the implementation of white-label solutions for partners. DigitalX secured $13.5 million from strategic investors such as Animoca Brands, UTXO Management, ParaFi Capital, and Metaplanet CEO Simon Gerovich. The funds will be used to expand the company’s Bitcoin portfolio.

Next in terms of investment volume were Kuru Labs ($11.6 million), which is developing a decentralized exchange, NEXBRIDGE ($8 million) for building tokenization of real assets, and ShelterZoom ($6 million), which specializes in cybersecurity and document protection. Additionally, investments were received by Remix ($5 million), Velvet Capital ($3.7 million), olaxbt ($3.38 million), BridgePort ($3.2 million), Arclaim ($3 million), and Vixor ($2 million).

Additional deals and undisclosed amounts

Among other notable deals, the medical company H100 raised $54 million through the issuance of convertible bonds and shares to expand its Bitcoin reserve, while Insomnia Labs received $12 million in the form of a loan for further development of the CreatorFi platform.

Capital was also raised in strategic and seed rounds by Crystal Intelligence (blockchain analytics), Shield Security (a neobank B2B platform), Aspecta (a technology platform), and MemeCore (an EVM-compatible blockchain), but details regarding the size of the investments remain undisclosed.

According to CryptoRank, during the week, investments were directed towards segments such as DeFi, blockchain services, CeFi, and GameFi. The most active investors were venture funds Paradigm, Dragonfly Capital, Animoca Brands, Archetype Ventures, and others.

Since the beginning of July, 12 projects have raised over $252 million in funding, highlighting the growing interest of investors in digital financial technologies and the blockchain industry.
