The Ethereum Ukraine team has announced a one-day hackathon, ETHKyiv Impulse: Farcaster Frames Edition, dedicated to the development of interactive applications for the decentralized social network Farcaster. The event will take place on April 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM and is aimed at a broad audience, including not only developers but also anyone interested in Web3 technologies.

Farcaster is a decentralized social network that offers users the ability to control their content without algorithmic censorship. The platform’s latest feature, known as Frames, allows for the creation of interactive elements such as mini-games, polls, NFT mints, and subscription systems directly within posts.
“The Frames technology is changing our understanding of interaction in social networks, rethinking the very concept of a post. We want to give Ukrainian developers and creators the opportunity to master this technology in a practical format,” said Rostyslav Bortman, founder of Ethereum Ukraine.
The hackathon invites everyone: from professional developers to students and technology enthusiasts. Participants do not need prior experience in blockchain development, as the program includes workshops for a quick start, support from experienced mentors in the Web3 industry, and access to a prize pool for the best projects.
“We focus on practice rather than theory. Come, understand, create — that’s our format. And even if you have never encountered Web3 before but are interested in technology — come, we will help you figure everything out on site,” adds Rostyslav Bortman.
