Market Leaders: Who Owns the Most Ethereum

Most of the assets are concentrated in two companies — SharpLink Gaming and Bitmine Immersion. Their combined total accounts for nearly 66% of the total ETH owned by the top 10 largest holders. SharpLink Gaming, which specializes in technology for sports betting, increased its reserves to 360,807 ETH by the end of July 2025. The company actively uses cryptocurrency for staking, which allows it to earn additional income. Bitmine Immersion, known as a miner with immersive cooling implementation, is also among the leaders.

The third position is held by the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. Together, the two largest companies control 65.9% of the total Ethereum volume among public owners. Analysts note that the distribution of assets in this area is dynamically changing.

“The first two owners on the list account for a total share of 65.9% of the entire volume of Ethereum. At the same time, the situation is changing rapidly, experts emphasized.”

Possible Changes in the Rankings and the Overall Market Picture

It is worth noting that the ranking currently does not include the company Ether Machine, although it was previously reported that it intended to invest $1.5 billion in Ethereum. Such an investment could potentially make it the largest public owner of this digital asset.

Due to the recent rise in the price of Ethereum, all companies in the ranking are in a zone of unrealized profit. According to an alternative source, Strategic ETH Reserve, the total number of counterparties, including private companies, organizations, and blockchain development funds, is 61, with a combined balance of 2.04 million ETH (approximately $7.42 billion), which corresponds to 1.69% of the cryptocurrency’s circulation.
