The President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hennadiy Chyzhykov, emphasized that the volume of Ukrainian exports last year amounted to 129.2 million tons of goods, corresponding to 41 billion US dollars. The continuation of trade in the international market indicates not only the resilience of businesses but also their ability to adapt to new global realities.

Chyzhykov forecasts an increase in export volumes, especially in sectors where Ukraine has strong competitive advantages, including agro-processing, food industry, information technology, machine engineering, pharmaceuticals, and woodworking. High value-added goods will remain key drivers.

Development of New Markets for Ukrainian Exporters

Hennadiy Chyzhykov noted that the main task of the chamber is to support businesses in integrating into European value chains. Currently, the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is also opening new markets for Ukrainian exporters in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. For example, the chamber is actively assisting companies in entering the markets of Kenya and Egypt by offering agro-technologies, equipment, and processed products.

Interest of Foreign Investors in Ukraine

Chyzhykov believes that foreign investors continue to show interest in Ukraine despite military risks.

“Investors are attracted not only by our export potential but also by the presence of international arbitration, digital services, and the flexibility of Ukrainian businesses,” he noted.
