According to the results of the first half of 2025, Poland maintains its status as a key trade partner for Ukraine, purchasing goods worth $2.45 billion. Turkey ranks second among importers of Ukrainian goods with a figure of $1.71 billion, while Italy holds third place, importing goods worth $1.17 billion.

Leading Directions of Ukrainian Exports
In addition to the leaders, significant partners for Ukraine include Germany ($1.09 billion), Spain ($976 million), the Netherlands ($919 million), China ($847 million), Egypt ($776 million), Romania ($679 million), and Hungary ($652 million). Overall, countries of the European Union, including Poland, Italy, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands, account for over half of the total export volume from Ukraine. The presence of partners such as Egypt, Turkey, and China allows Ukraine to diversify its export directions.
Benefits of Economic Cooperation with the EU in Public Opinion
The vast majority of surveyed citizens of Ukraine support the expansion of economic cooperation with EU countries. According to the survey data, 81.3% of the 800 respondents consider deepening interaction with European states a priority. Significant support is also observed for the United Kingdom, chosen by 66.5% of respondents, and the USA by 62.7%. Additionally, 36.2% of Ukrainians approve of developing partnerships with Southeast Asian countries such as Japan and South Korea, while 31.7% view the deepening of cooperation with China positively.
