The State Property Fund of Ukraine successfully conducted nine online auctions for the privatization of state property from May 26 to May 30, 2025, resulting in 342.32 million UAH being added to the budget. Following the auctions, the value of the objects increased by an average of 270%, indicating high demand from participants.

Largest Lot – Factory in Kyiv
The most expensive object last week was the sole property complex of the state enterprise “Kyiv Automobile Repair Plant,” which specializes in the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Two participants competed for this lot, ultimately raising its value to 310 million UAH. The buyer of the factory was the company “Mahistralbudtrade,” which must additionally pay 62 million UAH in value-added tax. The total economic effect from this privatization could reach 372 million UAH.

Plans for New Auctions and Privatization of ‘Vinnytsiaobukhym’
This week, the team of the State Property Fund of Ukraine intends to conduct another 20 privatization auctions. Among the proposed objects for sale are a garage and warehouse complex in Kharkiv, an administrative building in Ternopil region, as well as a public building with utility structures in Kyiv region.
Furthermore, the government recently approved the terms for the privatization of the state share package of the nationalized cosmetics and household chemicals manufacturer ‘Vinnytsiaobukhym.’ The starting price for the share package will be 301.4 million UAH. This opens new opportunities for attracting investments into the relevant sector of the economy.
