Opportunities for Attracting Investment and Industrial Development
Olivér Várhelyi emphasized that within the framework of the EU’s multiannual budget, nearly 10 billion euros is allocated for Ukraine. This will allow for the attraction of at least 40 billion euros in private and public investments over the next three years, opening up wide opportunities for the implementation of energy and industrial projects.
The Potential of the Ukrainian Defense Industry
The Commissioner also highlighted the high innovative potential of the Ukrainian defense industry, noting the defense sector’s capacity for growth and expansion of production capabilities. According to Várhelyi, the EU’s expansion significantly accelerates the integration of candidate countries into the Single Market, contributing to the strengthening of security and prosperity for all parties, while supporting their path to full membership.
