Production Potential of the Ukrainian Defense Industry

According to the minister, the Ukrainian industry is already capable of producing up to 10 million unmanned aerial vehicles annually. With appropriate funding, this figure could increase, and there would also be opportunities to boost the production of other modern weaponry.

“Our industry is already capable of producing up to 10 million drones a year. With proper funding, we can produce even more modern weaponry,” he noted.

Umerov also emphasized the importance of combining Ukrainian technologies with the manufacturing capabilities of foreign partners to scale up arms production. The Ukrainian state is ready to participate in joint projects, facilitate the search for partners, and invest in the creation of joint ventures in this area.

Strengthening the International Drone Coalition

Additionally, Belgium and Turkey have officially joined the International Drone Coalition, aimed at enhancing Ukraine’s defense capabilities through unmanned technologies. As a result, the number of coalition participants has reached 20 countries. As of July 2025, participants have already contributed approximately 194 million USD to the fund for the procurement of drones, allowing for the expansion of programs to supply Ukrainian military forces with modern unmanned aerial vehicles.
