BNB Foundation has announced the completion of its 33rd quarterly token burn procedure for BNB tokens on the BNB Chain. During this operation, over 1.44 million coins were removed from circulation, valued at approximately $1.2 billion at the time of the transaction. This is another step in the long-term strategy to reduce the supply of BNB in the market.

Details of the Latest Burn
As noted in the public registry, the transaction’s TXID is available for public viewing, and after the burn, the remaining supply of BNB stands at 137.74 million coins. It is worth recalling that 200 million BNB were issued at the launch in 2017. The Binance team has committed to gradually reducing the number of coins until reaching a level of 100 million BNB.
“As long as 137.7 million BNB remain in circulation, the deflation program continues.”
At the time of writing, the price of BNB on the Binance exchange was $1153. According to CoinMarketCap, the asset’s market capitalization reached nearly $158.7 billion, allowing BNB to maintain the fourth position in the cryptocurrency rankings.

BNB Burn Dynamics in 2025
Since the beginning of 2025, the BNB Foundation has conducted three coin removal procedures. A total of over 4.81 million BNB have been burned:
- In January — 1.63 million BNB worth $1.16 billion.
- In April — 1.57 million BNB valued at approximately $916 million.
- In July — 1.59 million BNB amounting to about $1.02 billion.
All these measures are part of the deflationary policy of the BNB Foundation aimed at supporting the stability and value of the token in the market. The BNB burn program continues to operate until the total supply is reduced to the planned level.
