Supporting Business under the EU4Business Program

The agreement was signed under the EU4Business Guarantee Facility Ukraine program. According to its terms, the EIB group provides a portfolio guarantee covering between 30% and 80% of the amount of each individual loan, as well as a first-loss guarantee of €40 million. This approach significantly reduces risks for the bank and expands lending opportunities for entrepreneurs. The agreement is valid until June 19, 2040.

Additional Guarantees for Credit Development

In addition, the European Investment Bank has provided a partial portfolio guarantee to Kredobank amounting to €6 million. Thanks to this guarantee, the bank will be able to issue new loans to small and medium-sized businesses in Ukraine. The guarantee is provided under the EU4Business Guarantee Facility II program, which aims to improve lending conditions for entrepreneurs. The total budget of this program, approved on May 5, 2025, is €300 million, of which €40 million is allocated for EIB guarantees.
