A Modern Chicken Processing Plant Opened in Volyn for €60 Million

The Ukrainian company Avesterra Group, specializing in poultry farming, has launched a new chicken processing plant in the Volyn region. The total investment in construction, automation of production processes, and environmental safety amounted to approximately €60 million.

Modern Technologies and Environmental Safety

The new production complex covers an area of nearly 30,000 square meters. It is equipped according to modern European standards, ensuring a high level of quality and safety of the products. The plant is capable of processing up to 13,500 broilers per hour and has 50 production and auxiliary facilities. Special attention has been paid to environmental safety: the enterprise has installed modern treatment facilities with membrane filtration that clean up to 3,500 cubic meters of wastewater daily, minimizing the negative impact on the environment.

Scaling Production and Entering International Markets

In the future, the company plans to fully automate all production processes and implement equipment from leading global brands. This will open up opportunities for Avesterra Group to enter the European Union markets with certified and scalable products.

Over 1,500 people are already employed at the company’s facilities. Currently, Avesterra Group holds about 5% of the Ukrainian market, producing up to 53,000 tons of poultry meat per year. At the same time, there are plans to increase the annual production volume to 120,000 tons.
