75% of Objects Damaged by Russian Aggression Restored in Kyiv Region

У Київській області відновлено 75% усіх об’єктів, пошкоджених після початку повномасштабної агресії РФ.

In the Kyiv region, over 30,000 objects of various purposes were damaged since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the Russian Federation in February 2022. Among them are more than 25,000 private houses, over 2,000 multi-apartment residential buildings, as well as hundreds of social and critical infrastructure facilities.

Restoration Rates of Housing and Infrastructure

As of July 2025, more than 23,000 objects have already been restored, which constitutes 75% of the total number of damaged structures. A significant portion of these objects are residential buildings, allowing thousands of families to return to their homes.

Under the “eRecovery” program, over 15,500 families in the Kyiv region have received compensation for damaged housing, and another 3,500 families for completely destroyed homes. The total amount of payments has exceeded 10 billion hryvnias.

Reconstruction of Borodyanka and Transport Infrastructure

In Borodyanka, one of the most affected villages in Kyiv region, nearly 600 of the 825 damaged or destroyed objects have already been restored, which is about 72%. In addition to residential buildings, the restoration of social infrastructure facilities and the creation of new public spaces are underway, contributing to the return of normal life in the community.

Due to hostilities in Kyiv region, 29 bridges and other important infrastructure facilities have been damaged. Nine of them have already been put into operation, and another seven are in the process of restoration. Such work is an important step towards ensuring transport accessibility and economic development of the region.
