Cooperation Between Ukraine and Slovenia in Reconstruction

Ukraine and Slovenia are expanding cooperation within new projects aimed at restoring frontline regions, particularly in the housing and utilities sector. The main focus is on developing water supply systems, implementing energy-efficient solutions, and modernizing municipal infrastructure. Slovenian companies are also expected to participate in the restoration of damaged housing, the development of “green” energy, and the improvement of waste management. Slovenia is already implementing a number of initiatives in the Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, and Mykolaiv regions, particularly in the construction of medical facilities.

Japan will continue its support for Ukraine under the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project until 2027.
