Агрохолдинг "Укрпромінвест-Агро" диверсифікує ризики та планує постачання продукції на м’ясний ринок.

Agricultural holding ‘Ukrprominvest-Agro’ is actively implementing a risk diversification strategy by developing a new direction in meat livestock farming. The company is executing a project to raise beef cattle — Belgian Blue and Angus breeds. Currently, the enterprise houses approximately 1,000 heads of various age groups, of which about 35% belong to meat breeds. Starting from 2025, the holding plans to begin supplying its own meat products to the market.

Approach to Livestock Development

The holding’s top manager, Mykhailo Voloshyn, emphasized the importance of a balanced approach to livestock development. The enterprise is simultaneously developing both the dairy sector and the fattening of beef cattle. This allows the company to maintain flexibility and ensure business stability in changing conditions.

“In my opinion, balance is always necessary in livestock farming. At the ‘Ukrprominvest-Agro’ farm, we are working simultaneously on the development of both dairy production and the fattening of beef cattle,” Voloshyn stated.

Diversification as a Guarantee of Resilience

Mykhailo Voloshyn also noted that the large-scale war has impacted the agricultural holding’s activities, shifting the focus from breeding pedigree heifers to dairy-meat production. Despite this, the company does not abandon the maintenance of heifers, considering the diversity of directions key to minimizing risks and ensuring stable development.

In addition to livestock farming, ‘Ukrprominvest-Agro’ is engaged in the cultivation of agricultural crops, as well as the production of sugar and flour. The group’s land bank exceeds 116,500 hectares, and the elevator capacity for storing agricultural crops amounts to 120,000 tons.
