Almeida Group, an international operator in the agricultural commodity trading sector, has signed a long-term lease agreement for the state-owned Bohdanivets grain processing plant in Khmelnytskyi. This was made possible through a public-private partnership, allowing the company to significantly expand its storage capabilities for agricultural products, surpassing the levels that existed before the full-scale war began.

Infrastructure and capabilities of the new complex
The Bohdanivets grain processing plant includes a modern elevator capable of simultaneously storing up to 92,000 tons of grain. The complex is also equipped with four independent grain reception points for road transport, with a total capacity of 3,000 tons per day, two grain drying facilities, a certified laboratory, developed railway infrastructure, and a mill with a daily output of 120 tons. In August, Almeida Group completed pre-season repairs and inspections of all elements of the complex, preparing it for full operational capacity.
Expansion of presence and strategic significance
Thanks to the new partnership, the company has not only strengthened its position in the storage, trading, and logistics market for agricultural products in the region but has also gained an additional strategic location for forming efficient supply chains. This enables the delivery of Ukrainian agricultural products to European and other export markets via both land and sea routes.
“Almeida Group conducted pre-season repairs and inspections of the entire infrastructure of the complex throughout August.”
The company is actively developing its network of offices, which are already operating in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Chernivtsi, Uzhhorod, and Lviv.
