“We view the private sector as one of the key participants in the reconstruction processes. At the same time, investment processes vary across different sectors. To determine optimal ways to attract such financing, it is necessary to thoroughly study the opportunities and specifics of each individual sector. Additionally, attracting private investments will significantly reduce the burden on the state budget during the war, which is undoubtedly a positive factor”

, – stated the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.

It is expected that the results of the study will be known by August of this year. The analysis will cover key airports such as Boryspil, Odesa, Lviv, and others. The main goal of the study is to identify ways to attract private investments for the purpose of:

  • reducing the need for direct budget financing of airports;
  • maintaining airport infrastructure in proper operational condition;
  • ensuring airports are ready for the rapid restoration of air traffic after the war ends.
