Daily Inflow of Capital into Spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Reached $609 Million

On May 21, 2025, spot Bitcoin ETFs received an impressive influx of investments totaling $608.99 million, according to data from the SoSoValue platform. This occurred amid a positive trend that has continued for the sixth consecutive trading day. Compared to the previous day, capital increased nearly twofold, which is linked to the new historical high of the first cryptocurrency at $111,800.

Investment Distribution in Bitcoin ETFs

According to SoSoValue, seven exchange-traded funds focused on Bitcoin investments attracted capital in the following amounts:

  • IBIT – $530.63 million;
  • FBTC – $23.53 million;
  • BTC – $22.14 million;
  • BITB – $20.49 million;
  • HODL – $6.09 million;
  • ARKB – $4.29 million;
  • BRRR – $1.83 million.

Unfortunately, five other exchange-traded funds did not receive any new investments.

Situation in the Ethereum ETF Sector

At the same time, the spot Ethereum ETF sector attracted only $0.587 million, marking the lowest figure in its history. Funds continue to flow into the ETFs, but their volumes are quite limited. For instance, the ETHA fund from Blackrock received $24.86 million, while the FETH fund from Fidelity experienced an outflow of $24.28 million. No changes in fund flows were recorded for the other seven funds.
