In 2024, over 1.1 billion US dollars were attracted from international donors for the implementation of restoration and development projects in Ukraine carried out by Ukrainian contractors. Thanks to these funds, the restoration of residential buildings, medical and social institutions, power plants, as well as the construction of new shelters and protective structures continues in various regions of the country following the devastating attacks by the Russian Federation.

The online platform Big Recovery Portal has gathered information on thousands of reconstruction facilities. This platform not only provides access to a database of projects but also includes analytics on public expenditures and tools for public monitoring of restoration works. In addition, BRP offers up-to-date statistics and a list of active tenders for businesses, encouraging entrepreneurs to participate in the country’s reconstruction process. The platform is part of the “Cost Control for Recovery” initiative funded by the European Union. Currently, the Big Recovery Portal covers the restoration of 8,024 facilities of various purposes.

In addition to the Big Recovery Portal, entrepreneurs, startups, and communities can take advantage of the opportunities offered by the online catalog “Green Platform.” It already offers over 100 funding programs for various projects aimed at improving energy efficiency. Among the available support options are: grants, loans on favorable terms, leasing of modern energy-efficient equipment, and capital investments.
