Increasing Demand and Infrastructure Development
In response to the growing demand for electric vehicles, the government initiated the development of a Concept for the Development of Charging Station Infrastructure. The key goal is to ensure comfortable and safe conditions for electric car owners throughout the country. As of July 2025, more than 470 charging stations were operational along state highways, but the issue of expanding the network remains relevant, especially in communities and on international transport corridors.
A record has also been set in the global market: in September 2025, global electric vehicle sales reached 2.1 million units — the highest monthly figure in history. Since the beginning of the year, global sales volumes of electric cars have increased by 26%, reaching 14.7 million vehicles.
