Supplies to Europe and Partnership with Preture Liquid Gas

The liquefied biomethane is being exported to Germany, with the buyer being the Cypriot company Preture Liquid Gas. Both companies—”UM Liquid Gas” and Preture Liquid Gas—belong to the same corporate group, which optimizes logistics and collaboration processes for supplying energy resources to the European Union markets.

Biomethane from Agricultural Waste and the Company’s Market Position

Biomethane production takes place at the “Yuzef-Mykolaiv Biogas Plant,” located in the Vinnytsia region. The raw materials for production are agricultural waste, highlighting the ecological aspect of the company’s business. As a result, “UM Liquid Gas” has become the second Ukrainian company to export liquefied biomethane and the fourth among all Ukrainian biomethane exporting companies overall.

In 2025, the first exporter of biomethane was the Vitagro group of companies, which organized supplies through the Ukrainian gas transportation system to EU countries. Subsequently, the agricultural holding MHP made the first supply of Ukrainian bio-LNG to the European Union. Additionally, in June, the “Hals Agro” group exported its own produced biomethane to Germany for the first time.

“UM Liquid Gas” exports its own produced liquefied biomethane to Germany, with the buyer being the Cypriot Preture Liquid Gas, which is the founder of “UM Biogas Company.” Thus, both companies are part of the same group.
