The retail market in Ukraine continues to actively develop, as evidenced by a number of new projects and openings in various regions of the country.

Construction of a New Shopping and Entertainment Center in Lviv Region and Expansion of the “Blizhenko” Network
A modern shopping and entertainment center with a hotel and apartments is planned to be built in the city of Vynnyky in the Lviv region. The project includes retail space of 3,800 sq. m, offices of 383 sq. m, an aparthotel with 116 apartments totaling 3,900 sq. m, as well as a hotel with 79 rooms covering an area of 1,900 sq. m.
The “Blizhenko” store chain, part of the Lviv-based BERTA group of companies, is preparing to expand into Volyn. Thus, the Volyn region will become the sixth area of presence for this chain, which already encompasses 248 stores in the Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, and Chernivtsi regions.
New Openings of International Brands in Various Regions
A third restaurant of the popular McDonald’s chain may open in Cherkasy, while construction of another establishment of this brand continues near Lutsk. At the same time, two new stores of the Polish clothing retailer Sinsay are set to open in Zaporizhzhia.
In Kyiv, a women’s clothing boutique, Bodium, will soon open in the Ocean Mall shopping center, featuring brands Livy and Maison Close from France. Additionally, a flagship store of the global sports brand Nike will also open in the same shopping center.
“Meanwhile, the first store in Ukraine of the famous Turkish denim brand Mavi has already opened in the Chernihiv shopping center Hollywood Mall. A multi-brand store, Ultra Shop, has also opened in the shopping center, showcasing world-renowned brands such as Guess, Levi’s, Baldinini, Moschino, Hugo, Boss, Liu Jo, Karl Lagerfeld, and more.”
Thus, the Ukrainian retail market demonstrates dynamic growth and expansion, attracting both domestic and international brands to a new stage of development.
